Minors (Softball)
The Minor League division is available for girls ages 8-10. Age 8 will need to try out and requires league approval. This competitive softball program focuses on the values and concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. The primary objective is to further develop the techniques of throwing, catching, running, hitting, and pitching. More advanced skills such as stealing, bunting, double plays, the use of signs, and calling pitches may also be used at this level.
Games last up to 1 hr. and 45 minutes.
Pitch Count
4PLL and Little League International are focused on protecting young pitcher's arms. 4PLL complies with Little League rules regarding pitch count.
Volunteers
The Minor League division requires Parent Volunteers to help coach players in the field and at practice, to organize team activities, and keep score. This division typical has a snack after each game provided by parents.
